"My husband and I had an amazing trip. Everything was perfectly organized (hotels, trains, flights, chartered cars and guides). We really enjoyed the fact that our tour had been tailored to our necessities and wishes. Both hotels in Beijing and Pingyao were restored traditional courtyard houses… very beautiful! The tour operator also gave us a lot of information to make the most of our experience (restaurants, entertainment, customs, etc) and was always available to help us during the trip.

Hi Wendy, Thanks so much for organising such a great holiday in China! Australians know very little about China, its history, culture and what the country has to offer, so I think it is a great benefit to use travel guides when you don't speak the language or know very much. Linda and Lisa were exceptional guides who were punctual, well organised and had great knowledge of Chinese history and culture, which enable us to learn a lot in our short time. Alex was also quite knowledgeable but he struggled with his English and was not as organised compared to the girls. The drivers were generally good, but I don't know whether we would ever get used to the volume of traffic in the bigger cities... it was a bit hair-raising on some occasions. Our accommodation was good, particularly the hotels in Xian and Beijing, however the Yongshu hotel was noisy and breakfasts were poor. Raphael did all the hard work initially organising our trip, making changes for us, and we really appreciate you taking us to the airport for our first internal flight. You've done a great job and are a credit to your company! We have travelled to many countries around the world unaccompanied, and this is the first time we have used guides to visit a country. I will recommend your company to other Australians travelling to China, as your guides made our trip much more interesting and easy. Here are some photos of our trip. Thank you very much. Dear David, Marco and I wanted to thank you for our trip to China. There were some things that went well just as your advertisement promised. All tour guides were waiting upon our arrivals, which was excellent because it can be an overwhelming experience if you don’t have a tour manager with you. They were prompt, on time, polite, excellent presentation, attentive and tried their best to be speaking good English and be understood. Xian Sheraton was great that is a 5 star hotel all the way. The breakfast was fantastic. Hangzhou and Suzhou Regal Plaza Hotel and the Holiday Inn were more like a 5* hotel, although all of them were not in a very good location. The New World Mayfair Hotel in Shanghai was what was advertised we really experience the 5* deal. I really was looking forward to this trip and Chinahighlights made it sound so wonderful. Our guides in all cities were very conscientious and knowledgeable; all were able to communicate very well with us. Each of them went above and beyond their responsibilities to make our trip special. The guides were a welcome sight at each city. They helped us check in to the hotels, check in at the airport and made sure we didn't get confused or lost in a new city. Thank you for one of the most wonderful experiences of our lives! Our guides were all excellent. We arrived in Beijing and Holly was waiting for us after we picked up our luggage. We were a bit nervous as we did not know how our tour would begin and if someone would be there! She was such a friendly, fun person filled with information and doing whatever she could do make us comfortable. The cruise along the Yangtze was amazing! Each morning I would be awoken by pleasant music and would then go and enjoy an enticing spread of both Western and Chinese breakfast foods. Thank you again! Good luck. I honestly can't tell you what trip was the best. The Tibet Adventure is so mind blowing, so beautiful and I will not forget the view from every place. We had a wonderful time. Everything that you planned for us exceeded our expectations. The hotels were all of excellent quality and our guides were informative. I hope that we can travel with you again in the near future. The only planning that I would have changed would have been to have allowed more free time. We were on a tight timetable and wanted to see as much as possible but next time we will plan more time to explore on our own. Best trip I have ever been on through your travel agency. Everything was anticipated and prepared for. We arrived safely and with great pleasure, joy and much knowledge about your country. And also got to experience the modern China within the city as well; military exercises, souvenir shops and thousands of people milling about.
